Jayden Frost

In 2011, Frost came out of retirement after 18 years and wrestled independent wrestler Seph Annunaki for an independent wrestling promotion in Texas called MPX (Metroplex Wrestling), when Annunaki's actual opponent never showed up.

In 2010, Jayden Frost had the starring role in the short film, "Rage".

In early 2000s, Jayden Frost recorded his first solo album, "Blue", produced and co-written by founding member and keyboard player of 80's band When in Rome. Frost's wrote the lyrics to the first and only single off of the album, "Wherever You Go", about a young woman who once stalked him at his home following a concert. Jayden Frost electrified audiences across the U. S. and Mexico as the voice and face of When in Rome (temporarily replacing original founding members and vocalists Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann) on their extensive tour bringing his positive energy to stage performance, radio interviews and television.

Frost was cast in several independent films such as "Camp Charlie" in 1995, "Space Marines" in 1996 (starring Billy Wirth of "The Lost Boys" fame. frost was also cast as a stuntman for this film). Frost acted in the 90's under the name Richard Abston.

Jayden Frost appeared as a featured extra in a deleted scene from the 1995 film "Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls" starring Jim Carrey (Frost played an elephant mascot (ala Barney) who was playing with a child in line at the Wildife park in a scene with Carrey. Jim Carrey was disguised as Abraham Lincoln and tried to sneak into the park. During filming, the child grabbed Frost below the belt, causing Frost to Fall to his knees and lose the elephant head from his costume. Carrey grabbed his hand, picked him up, and told Frost that he thought he was hilarious).

Frost appeared serval times on ESPN in 1993 for the pro wrestling program GWF (Global Wrestling Federation), but mostly worked on the independent circuit. Frost retired after only a few years due to a back injury sustained at the end of a wrestling match that featured Johnny Hawk (Who later became WWE champion JBL).

Jayden Frost started his entertainment career as a professional wrestler in Dallas, TX in 1991, and was trained by wrestling superstars such as Gentleman Chris Adams, Iceman King Parsons, Terry Daniels, Billy Joe Travis, and Rod Price. Frost wrestled under the names "The Actor", Richard Sterling, "Dream Boy" Johnny Richards, and Jammin' Johnny Richards.

In the 1990's, Jayden Frost appeared in several infomercials, and was featured on several t. v. series, including "Walker, Texas Ranger", and "Wishbone".

Estus' single "Heaven Help Me," with additional vocals by George Michael, reached Number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1989.

When In Rome, who's number one hit "The Promise" reached top ten on the pop charts, and #1 on the dance charts in 1989-1990 (and was the most recognized song in the blockbuster film Napoleon Dynamite). Some of the stages Frost has performed on in the United States are The Greek Theatre (Los Angeles),The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (San Francisco), City Lights Pavilion (Denver, CO), Hard Rock Hotel (Las Vegas), Reliant Center (Houston), and Fair Park (Dallas).

John Richard "Jayden" Abston (04 December 1973 ), known professionally as Jayden Frost, is an American singer, songwriter, and and actor who has achieved his highest success as the lead vocalist for the band Freedom - A George Michael Legacy that pays homage to the English singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist George Michael, who rose to fame as a member of the music duo Wham! and was best known for his work in the 1980s and 1990s. Frost has been teaming up with Deon Estus, who is an is an American bassist and singer, best known as the bass player of Wham! and as the bassist on George Michael's first two solo projects.
