He has also directed several television series, including "The Adventures of Don Quixote" (1984) and "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" (1985). Figueras was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on 11 July 1940. He studied at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and began his career as an actor in the 1960s. He made his directorial debut in 1970 with the film "The Garden of Delights". He went on to direct several other films, including "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" (1972) and "The Spirit of the Beehive" (1973). Figueras has also directed several television series, including "The Adventures of Don Quixote" (1984) and "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" (1985). He has also written several books, including "The Art of Directing" (1985) and "The Art of Acting" (1986). Figueras has been married twice and has two children. He currently resides in Barcelona.
