Jacques Laffite is a French actor who has appeared in numerous films and television series. He is best known for his roles in the films La Cage aux Folles (1978), La Boum (1980), and La Boum 2 (1982). Born in Paris, France, on November 21, 1943, Laffite began his acting career in the early 1970s. He made his film debut in the 1974 comedy La Cage aux Folles, which was a major success and earned him a César Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He went on to appear in a number of other films, including La Boum (1980) and La Boum 2 (1982). In addition to his film work, Laffite has also appeared in numerous television series, including Les Enfants du Soleil (1984), Les Cordier, juge et flic (1993-1996), and Les Hommes de l'ombre (2008-2009). Laffite has been married twice and has two children. He currently resides in Paris.
