Frank DiPino is an American musician, composer, and producer. He was born on October 22, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for his work as a drummer and percussionist for the band Chicago. DiPino began playing drums at the age of nine and was a member of the Brooklyn All-City High School Band. He attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he studied jazz and classical music. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began working as a session musician. In 1985, DiPino joined the band Chicago as a drummer and percussionist. He has since performed on all of the band's albums and tours. He has also worked as a composer and producer for various artists, including the band Chicago, and has composed music for television shows and films. DiPino is married to singer and songwriter Diane Birch. He has two children, a son and a daughter. As of 2021, Frank DiPino's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
