Françoise Cactus is a French musician, singer, and actress. She is best known for her work with the French rock band Stereo Total, which she co-founded with her husband, Brezel Göring, in 1991. She has also released several solo albums and acted in several films. Cactus was born in Villeneuve-l'Archevêque, Yonne, France in 1964. She began her musical career in the early 1980s, playing in various punk and new wave bands. In 1991, she and Göring formed Stereo Total, and the band has since released nine studio albums. In addition to her work with Stereo Total, Cactus has released several solo albums, including Françoise Cactus (1996), La Fille du Cinéma (1999), and La Femme Chocolat (2005). She has also acted in several films, including the French comedy Les Visiteurs (1993) and the German drama Der Krieger und die Kaiserin (2000). Cactus has been married to Göring since 1991. The couple has two children.
