Eugeniusz Kijewski is a retired Polish basketball player who was born on 25 June, 1955 in Poznań, Poland. He is best known for his time with the Polish national team, where he won a bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. He also won a silver medal at the 1975 European Championship in Belgrade. Kijewski began his professional career with the Polish club Śląsk Wrocław in 1974. He then moved to the Italian club Virtus Bologna in 1977, where he played for two seasons. He then returned to Poland and played for the club Śląsk Wrocław until his retirement in 1984. Kijewski was a member of the Polish national team from 1974 to 1984. He was part of the team that won the bronze medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. He also won a silver medal at the 1975 European Championship in Belgrade. Kijewski was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007. He is currently the president of the Polish Basketball Association.
