Jeinsen was the Playmate of the Month in the May, 1993 issue of "Playboy"; she holds the distinction of being the first German Playmate to also pose for the American edition of "Playboy", has appeared in a record nineteen international editions of "Playboy", and has done a handful of "Playboy" videos and special editions. Moreover, Elke has modeled all over the world in almost every country, has done numerous TV commercials, was featured in the music video for "Night Call" by Joe Cocker, and has appeared in more than three hundred newspapers and magazines.

Jeinsen popped up in uncredited bit parts in such mainstream films as Wayne's World 2 (1993), Charlie's Angels (2000), Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001) and Rock Star (2001).

She lived and worked for a year in Milano, Italy in 1991; she had a regular part as a "Cin-Cin Girl" on the Italian TV game show, Colpo grosso (1987).

In addition, she has appeared in many episodes of the TV show, Baywatch (1989), as a lifeguard, a bikini-clad beach girl, or a micro mini-skirted female onlooker. More recently, Elke has done adult-oriented fetish videos.

In 1986, Jeinsen placed second in the Miss Germany contest and won the title, Miss Hannover, in another beauty pageant.

Elke was the Playmate of the Month in the October, 1986 issue of the German edition of "Playboy".

Luscious and lissome blonde knockout, Elke Erika Weintraub Jeinsen, was born on July 25, 1966 in Stockholm, Sweden. Her family moved to Hannover, Germany when Elke was just one-year-old. She grew up with her brother, Thomas, in Hannover.
