Eddie Fatu was born on 28 March, 1973 in American Samoa. He is an American professional wrestler, best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the ring name Umaga. He is also known for his appearances in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Jamal. Eddie Fatu was trained by his uncle, the Wild Samoan Afa, and debuted in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 2002. He quickly rose to prominence as a member of the villainous stable, Three Minute Warning. He then went on to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a one-time World Tag Team Champion. In 2009, Eddie Fatu left WWE and signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Jamal. He was a member of the villainous stable, The Main Event Mafia, and held the TNA World Tag Team Championship with his cousin, Matt Morgan. Eddie Fatu retired from professional wrestling in 2012 due to health issues. He is currently working as a personal trainer and motivational speaker.
