Eadie Adams was an American singer and actress who was born on August 8, 1907 in Chicago, Illinois. She began her career as a singer in the 1920s, performing in clubs and on the radio. She was best known for her work with the Benny Goodman Orchestra, with whom she recorded several hit songs, including "Sing, Sing, Sing" and "Don't Be That Way". Adams was also an accomplished actress, appearing in several films, including "The Benny Goodman Story" (1956) and "The Benny Goodman Story" (1957). She also appeared in television shows, including "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Tonight Show". Adams was married to jazz musician and bandleader Benny Goodman from 1941 until his death in 1986. She died on April 15, 2008 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 100. Adams had an estimated net worth of $2 million at the time of her death.
