Dave Farrish is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach. He was born on August 1, 1956 in Lucknow, Ontario, Canada. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Rangers. He also served as an assistant coach for the Maple Leafs, Kings, and Anaheim Ducks. Farrish began his hockey career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft, and made his NHL debut with the Leafs in the 1979–80 season. He played in Toronto for four seasons before being traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 1983. He played in Los Angeles for four seasons before being traded to the New York Rangers in 1987. He retired from playing in 1989. Farrish began his coaching career in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals in 1990. He then served as an assistant coach for the Maple Leafs, Kings, and Ducks. He was named head coach of the Ducks in 2011, but was fired after one season. Farrish is currently the head coach of the OHL's Mississauga Steelheads. As of 2021, Dave Farrish is 64 years old and has a net worth of $2 million.
