Antonio Resines is a Spanish actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his roles in films such as El Lute: Run for Your Life (1987), The Grandfather (1998), and The Sea Inside (2004). He has also appeared in television series such as Cuéntame cómo pasó (2001–2006) and Velvet (2014–2016). Resines was born in Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Madrid. He made his film debut in the 1981 film El Crimen de Cuenca. He has since appeared in over 50 films and television series. Resines has won several awards for his work, including the Goya Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Grandfather, and the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Sea Inside. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Grandfather. Resines is married to actress María Galiana, with whom he has two children.
