Agostina Belli is an Italian actress who has appeared in numerous films and television series since the late 1960s. She is best known for her roles in films such as The Conformist (1970), The Garden of the Finzi-Continis (1971), and The Night Porter (1974). Belli was born in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, on 13 April 1947. She studied acting at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica in Rome and made her film debut in 1968 in the comedy film Il diavolo nel cervello. She went on to appear in numerous films throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including The Conformist (1970), The Garden of the Finzi-Continis (1971), The Night Porter (1974), and The Name of the Rose (1986). In addition to her film work, Belli has also appeared in numerous television series, including the Italian series La piovra (1984–85) and Il commissario Montalbano (1999–2000). She has also appeared in the American series Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2005–06). Belli has been married twice, first to actor Giancarlo Giannini from 1972 to 1975, and then to actor and director Franco Nero from 1981 to 1985. She has one daughter, Francesca, from her marriage to Giannini.
