Aaron Blaise is an American animator, director, producer, and story artist. He is best known for his work on Disney's animated films, including The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Brother Bear. He was born on February 17, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Blaise began his career in animation in 1989, working as an animator on The Little Mermaid. He then went on to work on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. He was the supervising animator for the character of Rafiki in The Lion King, and was nominated for an Annie Award for his work on the film. In 2003, Blaise directed his first feature film, Brother Bear, for which he was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Directing in an Animated Feature Production. He also directed the sequel, Brother Bear 2, in 2006. Blaise has also worked as a story artist on films such as The Emperor's New Groove, Chicken Little, and The Princess and the Frog. He has also served as a director and producer on the television series, Tangled: The Series. As of 2021, Aaron Blaise's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
